 The Heart of Texas Golf Academy is housed in a brand new 5000 sq. ft. practice facility complete with indoor putting green,
classroom, club repair room, and 3 hitting bays. The Bays have doors which open and allow students to hit into the range
from a controlled environment. Nets are also present so that during extremely poor weather the doors may be shut and lessons
can continue. The facility has central heat and air, and is equipped with 3 state of the art video teaching systems. The
academy has its own putting greens and practice holes for students as well as outdoor mats and grass hitting stations. The
 18 par 3 course is one of the top par 3 courses in the nation with holes ranging in length from 90 yards to 235 yards. It
is in excellent condition and is hardly used by the membership and it provides the perfect learning environment for
juniors. Since the academy is located at Lake Waco Golf and Country Club, students have access to a 36 hole private
facility. The regulation course once served host to a ladies tour event.
